Carnival: Haunted house was scary but wait till next year!

This year the Fall Carnival had games, food, a haunted house and a  DJ for dancing.

The haunted house was really scary but just wait until next year because it will be even better. The kids really enjoyed the moonwalk, too.

Last but not least, crowds gathered around Rey, a horse from the Houston Police Department who was accompanied by his master. Unlike the pony who was giving rides to carnival-goers, no one even thought about jumping on the police horse.

I would like to thank the Varnett staff, students, parents and our neighborhood friends who came together to make our carnival a success.
