The Mayor’s Back to School Fest presented by Shell and Motiva will be held on Saturday, August 15th. This year’s event will help 25,000 pre-registered students prepare for the new school year. Students will receive backpacks, school supplies, immunizations, dental exams and hair cut vouchers. Health screenings by local agencies, City of Houston and University of Houston services, and children’s undergarments will be available to families in attendance.
