Parents representing roughly 200 families flocked to the Northeast campus multipurpose room Friday evening, Aug. 16, as they prepared for the start of the 2019-20 school year.
They were greeted by an enthusiastic staff led by new Campus Director Dr. Toron Wooldridge, who promised a new beginning at the Varnett campus.
"Your kids will get a quality education; we're going to grow the kids," Dr. Wooldridge said to the packed house.
The teachers lined up at the front of the room and introduced themselves before leading parents and students to their respective classrooms. While there, teachers outlined their expectations and said they were eager to start the teaching and learning process.
Refreshments awaited the families as they returned to the multi-purpose room, which featured a photo booth for families to document their very special moment.
Thanks to all the parents who came to the Northeast campus and it readies itself to "impact your child."
