Meet the Director

Greetings Varnett Family,

 

I am humbled to be part of the rich legacy of education excellence with the Varnett family. My name is Quentin Land and I am a native Houstonian. I began my educational career in Fort Bend ISD over 15 years ago. My journey continued with the opportunity of teaching middle school in Alvin ISD. After teaching for several years, I started my administrative career as Assistant Principal in the Houston Independent School District at Key Middle School in 2014. I have served in other districts as an administrator.

 

I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Southern University in Broadcast Journalism. I received my Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. The desire to continue being a life-long learner led me to receive my Education Doctoral Degree from Texas Southern University. I am a servant leader who believes in the Golden Rule.

 

I truly believe and know it takes a village to raise our children. We are delighted that you have chosen Varnett Northeast to be part of your village. Please know that we truly have an “open door” policy and we welcome our parents and all stakeholders on our campus to support our mission and vision. We are anticipating a successful and engaging 2023-2024 school year.
