Preparation tools for STAAR tests

Dear Parents,

The STAAR tests are quickly approaching, and it is the intent of The Varnett Public School to help your children prepare for these important assessments.

One important tool to use for preparation is IXL, which specializes in personalized learning for students in the testing grades 3-8 and beyond. It also has a Spanish learning component.

Northeast, Southeast and Southwest campuses have purchased this program for student and parent use, and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. The comprehensive curriculum covers the areas of math, language arts, science and social studies. The curriculum allows students to:

• find content to support any lesson;
