Thursday, May 22, 2020, was a special day for the graduating students at Varnett Northeast.
Because of social distancing practices necessitated by COVID-19, students in Pre-K, 5th and 8th grade formed a parade with their decorated vehicles and families in tow. Varnett Northeast staff cheered and celebrated the students by distributing Certificates of Completion and medals to recognize their achievements.
The 8th-grade students also received yard signs sponsored by Mattress Mack!
A huge thank you to all the staff at Varnett Northeast that made this possible and to Mattress Mack.
