PreK and kindergarten students dressed up for 100 Days of School on February 21 and the entire campus wore their favorite cowboy and cowgirl attire for Go Texan Day on February 26.
Calling attention to the 100th day is a great way for elementary school teachers and students to celebrate the various mathematical concepts that can be taught using the number 100, according to the Very Well Family website.
The idea of celebrating the 100th day of school is to engage students in activities that promote fun and learning. It also is a great opportunity to involve the parents.
Go Texan Day is the unofficial kickoff of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The cancellation of this year's event because of the coronavirus didn't stop our students from celebrating the day anyway.
We thank our students and their parents for their creative display!
