There were lots of activities for everyone at a recent Northeast campus student-enrollment event ranging from business to fun.
Dr. Brandie Buford, district coordinator of school improvement, and Ms. Deonna Benton, district counselor, came out to support and tell us about counseling services at The Varnett Public School and about the popular ALPHA Academy program.
Two representatives from BBVA Bank offered its services and brought books aimed at teaching PK-3rd grade students about saving money and what the bank offers. Our students had a lot of fun coloring the books while they were learning.
Overall, we had a great event and thank everyone who participated.
