Parents will have a chance to talk to Northeast Campus director Yolonda Brown on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the campus.
Topics of discussion will include the 2010 Parent Handbook, fundraising activities, parent involvement, English as a Second Language, special education programs and campus ratings.
Northeast Campus earned the second highest rating of “Recognized.” The accountability ratings were the result of the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) standardized tests administered to students last school year.
The Parent Handbook includes information about school security and surveillance cameras, attendance, homework policy, code of student conduct, report cards, homework and other topics of parent interest.
