Book fair raises nearly $4,000

The Northeast campus hosted its annual Scholastic Book Fair and raised nearly $4,000 in sales, half of which stays at the campus.

In addition to books, the fair included pencils, key chains, pointers, bookmarks, posters, highlighters, erasers and pens.

The most popular items were key chains and pointers, especially with the lower grades. All grades from Pre-K through 8th grade participated.

The most popular books were The Wimpy Kid Series, Disney Encanto and Runaway Robot.

We had three parent volunteers throughout the week and they assisted the students on what items to choose according to their age, and monitor when large groups were around.
