Student parade highlights celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month

We had a great parade at Northeast today. The students had a wonderful time making flags, costumes, masks, flowers, and much more. We even had kids wearing ponchos to represent Mexico. The kids danced with me, Mrs. Brown, as I enjoyed all the different music from the different countries. Our parents came out to show their support as our kids paraded around the parking lot. We had more than 540 kids parading today. It was such an amazing day to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Day at the Varnett Northeast Campus.
