Hundreds gathered at New Day Deliverance Holiness Church in Northeast Houston to celebrate the graduation of 99 PreK-4 students and 32 fifth-graders Wednesday.
The graduation themes was “Reaching for the Stars” as the Northeast Campus graduating students proudly performed on stage before receiving their diplomas. Pre-K4 students will move on to kindergarten and fifth graders will enter junior high or middle school next school year.
Parents snapped pictures of their children in costume and Pre-K Director Melissa Cluff told the students how proud she was of their academic success. Northeast Campus Director Yolonda Brown assisted in handing out the diplomas.
Students Karime Valdez and Taylor Sullivan shared duties as mistress of ceremony and the audience was treated to a fifth grade video presentation.
