Youngsters dance to Sesame Street show at NRG Park

On Friday, Feb. 13, preschoolers and kindergarteners had the opportunity to see Sesame Street Live "Let's Dance" at the NRG Park.

This was a district-wide field trip filled with excited students ready to dance and share the experience with each other.  Students were able to experience an up-close and interactive experience with all of the Sesame Street characters through various components of dance.

There were more than 800 students and chaperones who attended the event.  Students were able to dance on the floor and dance with their friends.

As advertised in the promotional material, Elmo used his imagination to do "Do the Robot," Cookie taught all "feets" to dance andf Ernie shared the fun of dance with the Sesame Street favorite "Shake Your Head One Time."

Sesame Street Live “Let’s Dance” was an experience like never before.
