There will be no make-up day for classes canceled on Tuesday, May 26. The state education commissioner has granted a waiver so school districts will not have to deal with additional adjustments to the school calendar, said Dr. Margaret Stroud, Varnett's superintendent.
The last day of school will remain June 4 and it will be an early dismissal day (1:00 PM).
