Legos help promote student creatvity

One of the most important parts of a young child's developing mind is learning how to be creative. Our 3rd grade students at the Varnett Northeast Campus had a chance to use their creativity and build a motorized vehicle out of Legos and then race them!

The class teaches science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts by using Lego Duplo kits to introduce simple machines to young students. This class helps focus on engaging youth participants to explore STEM through the manipulation and construction of Lego Education kits.
