The Varnett School Northeast hosted its first middle school open house Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018.
The 6th- and 7th-grade team composed of Mr. Lawrence K. Thomas (6th and 7th Social Studies), Ms. Kanika Bazzell (6th and 7th Mathematics), Ms. Shaquetha Brown (6th and 7th English and Language Arts) and Ms. Kizuwanda Christie (6th and 7th Science).
Parents received information about the Aerospace Academy Middle School and were excited to learn information regarding the upcoming university tours. Students received their academic planners and parents were encouraged to set up teacher conferences if they needed more information.
Hats off to our Middle School Team, and a big shout out to Ms. Maria Salazar for being our translator for this evening's meeting.
