Parents meet teachers, have fun with students at Open House

Parents, students, teachers and administrators had an educational and fun-filled gathering Thursday night during a Northeast Campus Open House event.

Parents toured classrooms, watched demonstrations of the new interactive boards linked to lap tops, and had hot dogs, chips, punch and popcorn during a party outside.

Some students played bingo while others simply sat on benches and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Teachers seized the opportunity to show off their classrooms, explain their lesson plans, express their expectations and announce funding-raising and field trip activities.

It was a festive time and everybody seemed to enjoy the unifying event.
