Fifth-graders had a pizza party and received lots of encouragement from staff as they prepared to take the all-important Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) standardized tests.
The TAKS tests for math was Monday, April 4, and for reading on April 5.
The Texas Education Agency has developed Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) study guides to help students strengthen the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) that are taught in class and tested on TAKS.
