Annual family project in October produces decorative pumpkins

Each month our Northeast students participate in a family project. This month students and families decorated a pumpkin in any way they liked.

Families were encouraged to be creative with anything they had around the house: seeds, fabric, paint, feathers, crayons, cotton balls, buttons, bows, noodles, cereal and more.

The purpose of these projects is not only to have fun with family members but to encourage speaking and listening skills.
